From time to time I find myself observing other people out in public and in private. Noticing someone's nuances and mannerisms as they go about their business is one of the tendencies that I pay attention to the most. I notice what they value most and how they treat the things they value. How they treat other people is another one of the things that sticks out to me. There is a drive that every person cannot ignore. This force triggers them on an everyday basis to pursue their dream. It is what their passion is in life. This passion is what they strive to do every day for the rest of their life. These photographs illustrate an array of different passions in the lives of people that you walk by everyday. How does each person's passion differ from one another? And how does it shine through for the world to see? These are the questions that I sought to find answers for in these photographs. I searched for that moment when someone connects with the one thing that makes them shine. The show Passions explains and describes how far people will go for what they love to do in life. I felt my passion within my life while I was creating this body of work. At the same time I enjoyed all of my model's passions during the process.
