Description:
A group of men in decorative outfits carry flags in a line. The flag in the middle is the Canadian flag.
Historical Context:
The Native American Veterans Association of Southeastern Michigan carries in the flags behind the eagle staff during the Grand Entry at the Fowlerville, Michigan Pow Wow. Michigan is home to many Native American Veterans from all wars. Traditionally the "Flag Song" is played after the Grand Entry at Pow Wow's whereupon the flags and eagle staff are posted in a ceremony to open the Pow Wow. Taking photographs during the "Flag Song" is not allowed.
