Historical Context:
Rana Chalabi is an egyptian artist working in various media such as watercolor, charcoal, inks, mixed media, oils, sculptures, and printed graphics. She often does her watercolors on site but also works in her studio on the banks of the Nile. There are various themes in Chalabi's work, from Ancient Egyptian fantasies to still lifes.
