Description:
The titles, "Admirabilísimo milagro, inexplicable prodigio por la intercesión de María Santísima de los Remedios que se venera en Cholula y Milagro de San Antonio" mean "The admirable miracle, inexplicable prodigy for the intercession of Mary Most Holy of Remedies that is venerated in Cholula and Peasant Peels the National Valley and Miracle of San Antonio" specifically refers to a peasant that has been brought in by the government. There are two images, both in black and white and the top without borders and the bottom with borders. The top image is a bunch of men on horses wearing hats and holding guns surrounding and leading a man on foot who has his hands tied behind his back. We view this entire image from behind. "A lot of literature has been made around this zincography since Posada was 'discovered'. The research carried out by the Editorial Fund of The Mexican Plastic lets us know that the engraving illustrated a leaf where the miracle performed by the Virgin of remedies was reported to a peasant who shot by the rural 'resurrect' after the execution" The bottom image is of San Antonio being ravished by devils, who are firing a cannon into a building. There is a dragon with many heads in the top right and a swarm of locusts at the top left. At the left of an image there is a group of devils surrounding a man with a beard in robes. At the bottom image there is a devil doing something to a pig.
