Barnbaum holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Mathematics from UCLA in 1965 and 1967. His work is held in collections worldwide. As Director of Photographic Arts Workshopsh he leads Photography workshops and is an author of many books on the subject. Barnbaum resides in Granite Falls, WA.
