Historical Context:
Joe Zucker was born in Chicago, Illinois. He received a BFA from the Art Institute of Chicago. art is known for being extremely diverse, as he constantly plays around with new materials and concepts. One of the ways his art continues to evolve is by using materials that directly relate to the subject of his artwork. Zucker studied art at the Art Institute of Chicago, and his work has been featured in such prestigious institutions as the Whitney Museum of American Art and the Denver Art Museum.
