Historical Context:
Clint Hill is an abstract painter, printmaker, graphic artist, and sculptor, whose art is known for its mystical, atmospheric quality. The mediums he has used include collage, mixed-media, multi-media, and watercolor. He worked as an assistant to Mark Rothko, and studied art at the Académie de la Grande Chaumière in Paris and the Brooklyn Museum of Art School in New York. His work has been exhibited at the Art Institute of Chicago, the Brooklyn Museum, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
