American artist born in 1951. He received his B.A.at the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana and his M.F.A. at the University of California, Davis. He is known for modern genre-figure-object works, primarily inspired by memories and how they affect people over time, as well as the impact of media images on human emotions.
