Born in Rome in 1960, Claudio Corrivetti has been involved with photography since he was seventeen. As a photographer as well as a publisher, his mark is the continuing research for high quality photography. Inspired by the great humanist French and American photographers of the â€˜50s, he began to work for Italian newspapers and weekly magazines traveling frequently for various photo reports. In 1994, he founded a publishing house called POSTCART that now counts different titles, mostly photographic of high quality and artistic standard. His last book "Venice/Venezia" was made with the great Magnum photographer Leonard Freed.
