Historical Context:
Born in Rome in 1960, Claudio Corrivetti has been involved with photography since he was seventeen. As a photographer as well as a publisher, his mark is the continuing research for high quality photography. Inspired by the great humanist French and American photographers of the ‘50s, he began to work for Italian newspapers and weekly magazines traveling frequently for various photo reports. In 1994, he founded a publishing house called POSTCART that now counts different titles, mostly photographic of high quality and artistic standard. His last book "Venice/Venezia" was made with the great Magnum photographer Leonard Freed.
