Description:
Black and white photo with a border on the bottom. Stone face with a beard. Eyes, nose, and mouth are deeply inset and appear black. There is a crack extending from the upper right corner, near the eye, down to the bottom center, near the beard.
Historical Context:
Born in Rome in 1960, Claudio Corrivetti has been involved with photography since he was seventeen. As a photographer, as well as a publisher, his mark is the continuing research for high quality photography. Inspired by the great humanist French and American photographers of the ‘50s, he began to work for Italian newspapers and weekly magazines, traveling frequently for various photo reports. His last book "Venice/Venezia" was made with the Magnum photographer Leonard Freed.
