Description:
Large blue paint tube sculpture made of carved wood and cast glass. The tube is made of wood, the paint coming out of it is made of glass. Writing on the bottom reads: "SB 60/100" and is signed in gold ink. Limited Edition
Historical Context:
Livio De Marchi is an Italian sculptor who uses wood and glass. He worked on sculptures as a child, later studying at the "Accademia di Belle Arti" in Venice. He began his career working with marble and then later transitioned to bronze before finally settling on working with wood.
