Historical Context:
Pictured here are Erich, Kate, Tas, and Sophie Stoetzner. Kate is the Director of International Student and Scholar Services at Grand Valley State University. "We make up jokes and own a disco ball. We enjoy sledding, swimming, and sliding. Our family diet consists of "dot dogs" with "tchech-up" and "hammers" (hamburgers). We say "bee-do" instead of goodbye. Our favorite neighborhood friend is the ice cream truck man. We have a dry driveway year-round for our chalk art. "Compary" (company) is always welcome. The tickle-monster visits our house hourly. We say "ho"when we answer the "pone". We sleep with our B's and kiss our D. Our house is full of love and laughter. If only everyone could be so lucky."
