The title, "Importante! Importante! Los Afictionados al Teatro" means "Important! Important! Those Interested in Theater". Posada was hired by lots of different companies and people for his talents, and one of them was advertising for the local theater.

The image is in color with borders. There are two images on the front of this paper. The top image is of a poster style that Posada has often chosen. At the top there is the title "Selecta Recopilacion de Canciones Modernas" which means "Select Collection of Modern Songs". Below this is the image of a woman playing a guitar. Around her are many other instruments and flowers and a small mask. She wears a floral dress and there is a curtain above her. The bottom image is of a piece of paper being held by two hands. It is an advertisement for the theater, and the title sits at the top of the depicted piece of paper, and below there is large paragraphs of paper, in the middle it is broken into two columns of text but then goes back to paragraphs.
