Description:
The title, "El Fusilamiento del Brigadier Honorario Francisco Villa" means "The Execution of the Honorary Brigadier General Francisco Villa". Brigadier is a military rank. The image is in black and white with borders and the piece is double sided. Front: The title is at the top of the image, with a depiction of a man standing against the wall to the left and a firing squad to the right. They are not pointing their guns at him yet and he seems relaxed, talking to the captain. Below this is a small description and then it breaks into two columns of text. Back: Broken into two sections, the top is a continuation of the previous two columns of text. The bottom section is titled, "El Amore a La Vida" which means, "The Love of Life". Below this are two columns of text. The border is very decorative around this piece.
