Historical Context:
Often referred to as "Diana of the Dunes," this beauty's wave hails the beach-combers of 1926. This reproduction is based on the original poster from the campaign of the South Shore Line Interurban in the Calumet region. This posters today are used as part of a story book by Ronald D. Cohen and Stephen G. McShane, an illustrated story of the Chicago South Shore and South Bend Railroad.
