Historical Context:
"I have used sensible images in this body of work to communicate the idea of a miraculous experience and in doing so point toward a moment of revelation. It is a feature of our minds that we need sensible images in order to construct ideas. We come to knowledge through our five senses and the experience of a miracle fulfills this prerequisite. Because of the images that we sense in the world, the world and its signs can lead us to the awareness of its Maker. Simply, this body of work seeks to serve as an intermediary and secondary source in order to direct ones capacity beyond the senses to gain knowledge of divine possibilities." -Leah Renee Gregoire
