Judith Hall maintains her working studio on St. Simons Island, a small island off the coast of Georgia. Born in the midwest in Missouri, she began her formal education in Indiana, moving to Texas and then to New Orleans for a number of years, and finally to Atlanta. Beginning her work in this field with limited experience in the medium, she considers herself basically self-taught in the intricacies of etching and finds the medium to be a continuous learning experience.
