Historical Context:
Patricia Hendricks Constantine is a professor of drawing, education, and painting at Kendall College of Art and Design. She received her BFA from Kendall College of Art and Design and her MFA from the University of Cincinnati. On her work she states: "My work reflects many of the things that fascinate me... The duality of a beautiful image reflecting some unpleasant subject matter overtly exists in my figurative work...These images haunt me.
