Historical Context:
Mary Reusch is an abstract landscape painter who is constantly inspired by her surroundings. The subjects of Reusch's paintings range from her backyard to landscapes of her extensive travels including Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Austin, Texas; New York City, New York; and Japan. She worked in the field of graphic design and advertising for twenty years before perusing a career as a painter. She received her BFA in painting from Aquinas College in 1999 and currently resides in Grand Rapids.
