Looking through stained glass window of building at reflection of another building (Hackley House of Muskegon).
A painter and etcher specializing in photo-realistic watercolor paintings, Bruce McCombs has displayed his art around the country and around the world. Having received a B.F.A. from the Cleveland Institute of Art and an M.F.A. from Tulane University, he is now a faculty member at Hope college (which doubles as the subject of many of his pieces). He has become fascinated with eclectic architecture and capturing unusual glimpses of structures we see every day, bringing to light something new about the ordinary.
