The Artist's Garden at Giverny
Colorful impressionist piece; abstract garden in lavender, pinks, greens.
Claude Monet, also known as Oscar Claude Monet, was born in France in 1840. He was a principle founder of the French Impressionist, a movement based on expressing one's perceptions before nature, especially as applied to plein-air landscape painting. The term Impressionism is derived from the title of one of his paintings, "Impression, Sunrise".
