Historical Context:
Yaacov Agam is an Israeli artist born in 1928 in Rishon Letzion, Israel. He is one of the first to make use of kinetic art and was the first artist in history to have a one-man show of kinetic artwork. In his artwork, Agam attempts to represent reality as a changing and renewing entity instead of static imagery.
