Historical Context:
In 1977, Robert Natkin visited the Paul Klee Foundation. The Paul Klee Foundation is both a research institute and a museum that allows visitors access to thousands of drawings and paintings.. On this visit, Natkin was inspired to began his Bern Series" of paintings.
