Bust of Shakespeare, slightly simplified and stylized; resting on base forming front collars. Plaque is inside Lake Superior.
Historical Context:
Dr. Richard E. Paschke earned a Doctorate degree in neurobiology and psychology, and takes a great interest in music and art. He has performed, published, recorded, and composed music since the age of 18. Over the years he has also made time to carve, model, and build various sculptures. This sculpture represents William Shakespeare, an English playwright, poet and actor. Shakespeare’s works include some 39 plays and over 150 sonnets.
