Historical Context:
Edward Weston is a well-known photographer who, from a young age, began taking photographs of his home-town of Chicago and also of his aunt's farm in the country. Weston attended the Illinois College of Photography in Effington in 1908, where his style would evolve from his traditional pictorial approach to abstract forms with sharp resolution. His most famous works include images of natural forms, close-ups, nudes, and landscapes.
