Historical Context:
Kathleen Kalinowski is a Michigan resident. She is a painter and a drawer who mainly works with landscapes. For her paintings she prefers oil paint and pastel. "The images I have been drawn to are reminders of places that I have been, and recent experiences that challenge me to evoke the response that I felt at that time, to my paper or canvas. It is my intent that the painting's concept will hold a special meaning to someone else and that they will be touched by the paintings spirit." -Kathleen Kalinowski
