Historical Context:
Jerry Berta is the owner and artist-in-residence of Diner World in Rockford, Michigan. Diner World consists of two beautifully restored classic American diners: "Rosie's Diner", a 1945 Paramount diner originally located in Little Ferry, New Jersey, and the "Diner Store- An American Art Gallery", (formerly "Uncle Bob's Diner") in Flint, Michigan. The Diner Store features artwork by Jerry and his wife, artist Madeline Kaczmarczyk.
