Medium:Real Photo Postcard
Real photo black and white postcard with the portrait of a group of four musicians on the front. The background is light with a dramatic spotlight on the group of people. They are positioned in an ascending order of height; the clarinet player is on the far left with his instrument angled up in the air, next is the violinist, then the accordion player, and finally the contrabass (upright bass). Some of the players are smiling and they all appear to be in dark colored tuxedos or fine suits. At the bottom center of the image is the group's name "The Floridians" and a little to the right are the numbers "2728". To the right of the image, bordered by the curves of the contrabass, are the words "Maurice'[s] Chicago" which was a popular restaurant in Chicago in the 1930s. Back of postcard has no message or stamp.
