Historical Context:
The GVSU College of Health Professions strives to prepare its students to become exceptional professionals who will impact the health and well-being of the larger community. Each year, hundreds of students are granted bachelor and graduate degrees in GVSU’s various health related programs such as Communication Sciences and Disorders, Diagnostic and Treatment Sciences, Occupational Science and Therapy, and Public Health. In this photo, a GVSU Communication Sciences and Disorder student works with research faculty conducting studies using electroencephalograms (EEG) to measure electrical activity in the brain in response to stimulation such as sight, sound or touch.
