Description:
Digital print of a profile of a head with red body parts, like hands feet, arms, and lips, entangled within a white web or swirl covering the head.
Historical Context:
“The [COVID-19] pandemic has influenced [all] aspects of our lives, especially the mental sphere - as you stay within the walls of your own apartment or house all day, every day. Or, maybe the 4 walls confining you isn’t your physical home, but rather your mind. The pandemic has infiltrated every aspect of our lives, and maybe your mind is like mine- scrambled. As I illustrate in ‘Entangled,’ your mind can take bits and parts of your daily life and mix them all around to create an incessant stream of jumbled, zig-zagging thoughts.” – Katherine Williams
