The Red Ribbon Stamp
A sheet of 50 AIDS ribbon stamps double matted in red and black. "Ribbon shapes" are cut out in the upper left and lower right corners of the black mat to reveal the red beneath
The Red Ribbon Foundation was founded in 1993. Their main purpose is education about prevention of the Human Imunodeficiency Virus or HIV. These stamps were issued by the United States Postal Service to commemorate the American Association for World Health's World AIDS Day.
