Description:
The title "Revolucionario Muerto" means "Dead Revolutionary". There are two images, both in black and white without borders. The top image is of a man in battle, with a less formal uniform crying on a barrier, with bags of money below him. Two men are dead in front of him on the ground and two other men fire into the distance. There is a city scape in the background. The bottom image is of three men hiding behind a barrier, with two dead men behind them in matching uniforms. There is a procession of men in horses riding away from men who are shooting at them in the left corner.
Historical Context:
The revolutionaries were those fighting against the powerful presidency of Porfirio, who was trying to turn his reign into a dictatorship, because in Mexico at the time there was a short term limit. This revolution was led by Madero who later became president.
