Careless Talk Costs Lives- Don't forget that walls have ears!
LIthograph Poster: Two women lean in talking to each other- the wallpaper behind them in a repeating pattern of Hitlers face.
Born Cyril Kenneth Bird, he adapted his pen name of "Fougasse" when he started working as the art editor of the magazine Punch when World War II broke out in 1939. He then offered his artistic services free to the British government as he produced propaganda material. He was well known for his gossiping cartoon characters, a welcome change to otherwise serious mass communication of the time.
