Date:1970 – 1980
Paper and Heelball; Black wax on white paper. Short hair with full facial hair/ long beard. Helm resting behind his head- slight "puffy" collar coming out of his armor.
Wax rubbing of the funerary brass of unknown man. The original brass is located in England. These rubbings were taken by placing paper over the brass plate and carefully rubbing them with a wax crayon so that an impression was left on the paper. Many churches no longer allow the public to take rubbings of these historic brasses in order to preserve them.
