Historical Context:
Growing up in Michigan as a young girl, T’Alyne was fascinated with studying her surroundings- the rocks, the trees, light bouncing off of water, and the ever-changing environment around her as the seasons progress. This attention to detail and reflecting on her surroundings stayed with her, and is now a focus in her career as an artist. T’Alyne challenges herself to understand the beauty and serenity within our natural environment and how a well-cared for planet can have a positive impact on our daily lives. Focusing on her observations and connecting to nature, each artistic mark she creates represents various physical elements within her surroundings and the bridge between understanding the environment and finding yourself.
