Unfinished Work (Getting Lost- Haiti)
Colored photograph of the side of a hill covered in buildings with colorful roofs.
"While studying abroad in Haiti in May 2017, a steep hillside covered in houses was pointed out to me on the outskirts of Port-au-Prince. A clear line was visible between the brightly painted houses and those with dull, bare cement walls - a painting job frozen in time. Also obvious was the precarious situation of the homes should another earthquake hit the city. To me, it is a representation of the country itself, with great potential for good or bad: an unfinished work." - Anna Vander Boon
