This light-toned flow was first noticed by the Mars Global Surveyor science-operations team in 2005. This location was first imaged by the Mars Orbiter Camera on August 30, 1999. The new deposit exhibits characteristics consistent with the movement and depositing of a fluid that behaved like liquid water.
