Holly Cieslinski, OT student, works with a client who has a delayed-healing wrist fracture in the Corazones en Movimento outpatient clinic in Teculután, Guatemala. The client expressed frustration with her inability to engage in activities of daily living (ADLs), particularly self-care and homemaking. Holly assessed the client then fabricated a custom wrist orthosis in order to immobilize the joint, allowing for pain-free participation in ADLs.
