Historical Context:
The concentric circle with radiating lines represents the wamulu plant. The wamulu plant produces a type of cotton that the aboriginal men colored with ochre and used for decorations on their bodies and in sand paintings. The patchy background dotting is the raw and colored wamulu as plastered to the men's bodies.
