Historical Context:
The three concentric circles through the center of the painting represent places near Mt. Singleton, called Ilgirri, where the Kuunbu or bush lolly plant is plentiful. The U shapes surrounding two of the circles are people collecting the small berries. The berries are the sweetest of the bush fruits and hence, in the aboriginals translation to english they use the term lolly.
The concentric with linking lines, on the outside of the painting are the Kuunbu plant with the berries on the branches.
