Dimensions:
Artworks - Height: 35.75 in Width: 24 in
Description:
three black white and yellow circles in a column in the center. Black lines outlined in yellow on the right, and white on the left. Different collors of splotches made of dots cover the rest of the canvas
Historical Context:
The three concentric circles in this painting represent sacred sites in Mt. Singleton Country, which is Long Jack's homeland to the north west of Papunya Community. Two corroboree men (U shapes) are on a journey to each of these places where they will perform ceremonies. The men are traveling with spears and boomerangs for hunting. The background dotting is the spinifex and sandhill country typical of the area.
