Aboriginal Art Collection ➔ Water and Bush Turkey Dreamings

Acrylic on Canvas
Artworks - Height: 34 in Width: 52 in
White grey, brown, and yellow splotches over a black background. 4 columns of 3 circles connected by wavy lines outlined in white dots
Historical Context:
The concentric circles in this painting represent waterholes. The linking lines are the running waters that fill them. The area encompassing these waterholes is known as 'Makungi'. The animal tracks are those of the bush turkey, an animal often associated with the Makungi area.
