Historical Context:
Macro photography is extreme close-up photography, usually of very tiny subjects and living organisms like insects and microorganisms. The resulting image shows the subject much greater in size than in real life. Details once unseen suddenly become the focus of the photograph. With the right skills, amazing images can be captured, bringing to life an entire world just out of reach of the human eye.
