Description:
Aerial view of a city complete with the streets, houses, and businesses.
Historical Context:
"These maps are an exploration of a Utopian city where form and function are prioritized differently. I frequently use cartographical devices in my etchings and drawings. Using perspective as needed: from relief, charting ideas in mind map which has no geographical context, side on/street view, and, in the case of these etchings, birds eye viewpoints. Perspectives change intuitively and at will. This allows the viewer to both experience and understand the design of the city." -Keziah Philipps
