Historical Context:
This print is one of a series of images that tell a story. In "The Window", Lydia wakes up to find her cat has escaped through the bedroom window and into the woods. Afraid for its safety, she calls after it. The completed story will be comprised of about 20 images. Inspired by a dream, this series is an attempt to depict a world that exists on the edge of consciousness and unconsciousness.
