Historical Context:
Dellas Henke is a print maker who earned his Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Iowa, Iowa City and received his Bachelor of Science from the State University of New York, Albany. As a student he studied under several distinguished print makers, including Robert Marx, and later taught fine arts classes at Grand Valley State University. This collection of engravings are a part of his portfolio titled, "Slideshow". On his work he states: "I admire those who do not lose heart. I think all of the prints and drawings and paintings I have ever made were about not losing heart."
