Historical Context:
Jamie Wyeth is a contemporary American realist painter from Pennsylvania. He is the third generation of renowned artists, the son of Andrew Wyeth and the grandson of N.C. Wyeth. He participates in the Brandywine School Tradition, working in the rural Brandywine River area of Delaware and Pennsylvania in order to artistically portray its people, animals, and landscapes. This poster commemorates an exhibition featuring Wyeth's work at the Farnsworth Art Museum.
