Historical Context:
"Bruce Morrisseau, nephew of renowned painter Norval Morrisseau, was born in 1965 in Beardmore, Ontario. He has been creating and expressing the woodlands style taught to him by his uncle for over ten years. It is Bruce's wish to pass on Ojibway culture and traditions to all people. He feels he can express himself through this style of art and finds it very healing." -Winn Devon Art Group and Canadian Art Prints. This piece was purchased at the Art Gallery of Ontario.
