City scene. Done mostly with maroon, red, pink or a lighter shade of red. People seen on the sidewalks, in their apartments. Two cars and the front of a car are visible. On the right of the piece is a wall with two windows, and older lady in the top window and a young boy and girl in the bottom window. Phone or electrical lines are in the foreground.
Historical Context:
This piece by 2011 Grand Valley State University Graduate, Elizabeth Uitvlugt, was submitted to the 2013 Student Scholarship Competition held by the Society of Illustrators. Her instructor was Ed Wong-Lingda.
