Historical Context:
This collection of photographs was created in July of 2012 as a part of a series of celebratory events honoring the 25 years of sorority between Grand Valley State University and Kingston University of England. Established in 1986, the exchange program between these two universities has attracted hundreds of students, faculty and staff members. Hambleton states, "This partnership currently offers the most comprehensive curricular options for student, faculty and staff exchanges". Other celebratory events include several welcoming and honoring receptions, concerts and a project called "Bodies in Motion", which will feature live dance performances in both countries.
